PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a net-like fabric does not cause indestructilde accurate weaves, even when thin copper wires (particularly, those having diameters of <=100μm) which have conventionally been difficult even to be woven as warps and woofs, and at the same time, to provide an industrially advantageous method by which a functional material which has a specific structure using the fabric as the component can be manufactured at once. SOLUTION: A net-like fabric 2 is obtained by weaving copper wires having a diameter of, preferably, <=100μm as warps 2a and woofs 2b. A thin substrate 1 having an adhesive layer 'ad' composed of a pressure-sensitive adhesive, etc., is fed to the net-like fabric 2, before the fabric 2 is wound at and after the weaving starting point, while the fabric 2 is woven and the adhesive layer 'ad' of the substrate 1 is brought into contact with the fabric 2 so that fabric 2 of the bare copper wires may be stuck to the substrate 1 through an adhesive layer 'ad'. It is preferable to adjust the length of the diagonal line of each weave of the fabric 2 within a range of 4±3 mm.
