PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable electrophotographic system preventing deterioration of chargeability and rise of residual potential without losing high sensitivity because of repeated uses. SOLUTION: This liquid dispersion contains a titanyl phthalocyanine having at least 2 diffraction peaks of Bragg angle 2θto the characteristic curve of CuKα(a wavelength of 1.514Å) at 26.3±0.2 deg. and 27.2±0.2 deg. at the same time, and a peak intensity at 26.3±0.2 deg. is 1-40% of that at 27.2±0.2 deg..
