The nose pad for a pair of spectacles comprises a thrust element (30) with a convex surface which clips onto a support (32) attached to the frame (20). The thrust element is one of a series of interchangeable modules of different thickness, selected to suit the shape of the wearer's nose, and the support has upper and lower extension lugs (36, 38) attached to the frame by a fixing member (40). The lugs are connected to the fixing member by hexagonal couplings (46) which allow the support to be set at various angles.
