<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify a leak position even when a sludge changing its temperature with time in a level not to differ large from a surrounding temperature leaks from a sludge feed pipe. SOLUTION: While a temperature of a sludge 23 in a sludge feed tank 4 is measured by a thermometer 5, light pulses are brought into one end of a sensor optical cable 3 by an optical temperature distribution-measuring apparatus 6. A Raman scattering light returning after scattering in the sensor optical cable 3 is detected. A temperature distribution of a sludge feed pipe 2 is calculated. Whether or not the sludge 23 leaks from the sludge feed pipe 23 is judged on the basis of a calculation result of the temperature distribution and the temperature of the sludge 23 in the sludge feed tank 4, and a leak position is specified if the sludge 23 leaks.</p> |
