摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-ray type air flowmeter in which a good measurement can be effected while suppressing error regardless of the bending direction of a curved air intake duct to be coupled with an intake air introducing section. SOLUTION: A cylindrical passage forming member is disposed in the intake air introducing part 1a of a throttle body 1. A main air intake passage 6 is formed in the passage forming member while a bypath 14 is formed on the side part of the main air intake passage 6 and a heat-ray type sensor part 10 is inserted into the bypath 14. The bypath 14 is coupled, on the upstream side thereof, with an annular inlet 18 formed along the inner circumference of the intake air introducing part 1a. A circumferential wall passage is formed between the circumferential wall part of the passage forming member and the circumferential wall of the intake air introducing part 1a. The bypath 14 is coupled, at the end thereof, with the circumferential wall passage through a coupling passage 16 and a bypath outlet 9d, opening to the main air intake passage 6, is made at the circumferential wall part of the passage forming member.</p>
