摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically provide the form of a matter to be measured without preliminarily measuring the optical condition or position of an image pickup device by detecting the spatial position and image pickup direction of the image pickup device simultaneously with the taking of a plurality of images in stereo method. SOLUTION: When the image of a matter to be measure 1 is taken by a three-dimensional measuring device 2, the image is formed on a CCD 9 through a lens unit 3. An image signal is A/D converted and stored in a memory 11. The focus value and zoom value of the lens unit 3 are detected by the focus sensor 8a and zoom sensor 8b of an optical condition detector 8, and stored in the memory 11. After a standard position setting is further executed, the relative position to the spatial position in the standard position setting is detected by use of the gyro sensor 5a and poison sensor 5b of a position detector 5. The image of the matter to be measured 1 is taken while an image pickup device is moved in a free position in this way, the three-dimensional form can be provided, and the form of the whole surface of the matter to be measured can be provided even when the matter to be measured can not be moved.
