PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize excellent photographing even in the case of photographing under a dark environment or telescopic photographing by preventing occurrence of a color failure. SOLUTION: A microcomputer 10 obtains a difference between a reference value and an integration mean value of color difference signals R-Y, B-Y. When the difference is high and the luminance change value is higher than a luminance change recognition level, white balance control signals RCONT, BCONT are chanted by one step each. A luminance change recognition level is large in the case of telescopic photographing and small in the case of wide photographing, large when the luminance of the object is high and small when the luminance of the object is small. |
