PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously perform data communication and charging of a battery and to enable speaking while holding equipment on the palm even when the connector is inserted by providing an auxiliary external interface for performing data communication on the side face, upper surface or back. SOLUTION: Concerning a main body 1 of terminal equipment, an external interface part 6 and a charging terminal 4 are mounted on its base and separately, an auxiliary external interface part 2 is provided on its side face. When performing data communication while charging the internal battery, since the auxiliary external interface part 2 exists on the side face of the main body 1 of terminal equipment, a connector 3 can be inserted into the auxiliary external interface part 2 even in the state of loading the main body 1 of terminal equipment into a charger 5. When performing data communication at the tim except during charging, the connector 3 is inserted into the external interface part 6 while holding the barrel part of the main body 1 of terminal equipment on the palm, and the auxiliary external interface part 2 on the side face is not used. Therefore, the connector 3 disturbs nothing in the case of carriage. |
