PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save document having the same name in the same director or folder on a storage device by setting and registering unique identification number for the documents having the same name. SOLUTION: An input device 301 inputs various generated documents. A CPU 302 is a processing unit which executes a document processing program. A display device 303 is able to display the input data, data which are already generated, and various document management data. An FD drive 304 and a CD drive 305 are used to install the document program or as a recording medium for the generated documents. When there is a document file having the same name with a document file present in a folder, a history identifier for identifying the history of the document file is set and registered to discriminate whether or not the saved file is a new document or an updated document generated by correcting a document file already saved on the storage device. |
