STATE DISPLAY DEVICE FOR FIELD EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm the state of field equipment intuitively and intensively by making representative state displays of field devices concentrated by field buses and state displays by field devices connected to the field bus on a host machine side. SOLUTION: A field control unit 51 connected to a control bus 4 generates information showing the state of a field device according to an alarm of the field equipment sent through an I/O module 61 . Other field control units also generate field device states based upon alarms of the field devices sent through I/O modules. Those generated field device states are read by the host machine 1. The host machine 1 takes the state information on the field device from the control unit 51 out and makes representative state displays by segments and state displays of the individual field devices.
