<p>The present invention refers to a switch-off mechanism of power protecting varistor energy conductor. Proceeding on devices for protection of electric, electronic and telecommunication assemblies and devices from voltage overloading in the case of a stroke of lightning known up to the present, the invention is based upon the problems of: elimination of the emanation of heated gasses and moisture occurring on usual spark places, shortening the response time and elimination of high residual voltage, consideration of possibilities of permanent damages of certain crystal structure areas of varistors in the case of exceptionally powerful strokes of lightning, possibilities of deviations from tolerances of industrially manufactured varistors as well as assurance of possibilities of indication of damages or failures of certain components of the device according to the invention.</p> |
