摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an apparatus by which the operation of a relay can be confirmed surely and whose reliability is high by a method wherein the apparatus is provided with an accelerometer, with a computing and processing circuit, with a feedback circuit, with a judgment part and with an alarm part. SOLUTION: An earthquake detecting apparatus is provided with a semiconductor accelerometer 30, with a computing and processing circuit 40 which computes a spectrum intensity(SI) value and which outputs a relay driving signal when the SI value exceeds a specific threshold value, with a feedback circuit which outputs the operating state of a relay 70 as a feedback signal, with a feedback judgment part 78 which judges the operating state of the relay 70 and with an alarm part 79 which outputs an alarm signal 80 when an abnormality is confirmed in the operating state of the relay 70. Thereby, it is possible to obtain the earthquake detecting apparatus by which the operation of the relay 70 can be confirmed surely and whose reliability is high. Since especially the feedback circuit is independent of the output contact of the relay 70, a circuit constitution can be made very simply, and the reliability of the earthquake detecting apparatus can be enhanced.</p>
