PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold a developing blade in a normal state without being affected by distortion caused by the deformation of a device housing even if the deformation in the device housing is produced due to temperature fluctuation or the like in a developing device where the developing blade constituting of an abutting member abutting on a developing roll and a supporting member supporting the abutting member is attached to a blade attaching surface formed at the device housing through the supporting member. SOLUTION: A distortion propagation suppressing part 6 to suppress the propagation of the distortion due to the deformation caused on the side of the blade attaching surface 1e is formed at the specified point of an open area where the abutting member 30 of the supporting member does not exist in the developing blade 3. The distortion propagation suppressing member 6 is constituted of for instance a notch, a through-hole or a thinly formed part or a drawing part. |
