The invention refers to a dichroic mirror, which provides high reflectance in the 2.8-3.1μ spectral zone and high transmission in the 0.9-1.1μ spectral zone, intended for use especially as a reflecting mirror for the Erbium laser that operates at 2.94μ, pumped longitudinally by a 0.97μ wavelength laser diode, with applications to the medical field, especially dentistry. The dichroic mirror is provided with a set of nine identical base structures (A); each base structure (A) consisting of a thin titanium dioxide layer (2) and a thin silicon dioxide layer (3), a thin layer (2) being deposited on the last base structure (A). The set of base structures (A) is deposited on a substrate (1) represented by a YAG:Er crystal.
