The invention refers to a plug for sealing containers, which provides adequate sealing and operational safety. The plug for sealing containers, according to the invention, consists of an interior part and a lid, its lower part being shaped like a spherical balloon [1], made of plastic material, filled with air, and the lid being shaped like a disc [2] made of rubber provided with a circular magnetic crown [3], or shaped like an inflated tube [4], provided with magnets [5], and a rod [6], respectively. The plug for sealing containers, according to the invention, has the advantage that moulds perfectly to the neck of the container, providing adequate sealing.
