PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device for operating control without depending on the absolute reference sensor of an external monitor in a following service stage by operating calibration at the time of shipping. SOLUTION: This optical device is provided with a light source 110, an optical system 120 for controlling an optical path from the light source 110, and a light quantity controlling means 11. In this case, this device is provided with an internal photosensor 160 for sensing one part of the light quantity from the light source 110, a reference value storing means 13, and a comparing means. The output light of the optical device is detected by an external monitor device 400, and the output value of the internal photosensor 160 in the detecting state of the optimal output light of the external monitor device 400 is stored in the reference value storing means 13 as a reference value, and the output of the light quantity controlling means 11 is controlled according to the output of a comparing means. |
