PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operation efficiency by making an automatic recovery to the operation state before a system stall when an operating system (OS) after the system stall is restarted. SOLUTION: If the system stall is caused, an operator performs system reset operation and the system enters an abnormal end state. Then the computer system is initialized and the OS is restarted. When the OS is restarted, the abnormal end of the system at the last end is detected. For the purpose, the parameter showing the end state in a start file is only referred to. The system having detected the abnormal end reads in an operation file, starts an application program, and automatically performs necessary data input and processing. Consequently, the system is put back into the state right before the abnormal end. A recovery request switch circuit which performs the above operation is constituted including a stall recovery request switch 1, a 3-state buffer 2, and an I/O read control circuit 4. |
