SOLUTION: An object OD to be displayed constituted of at least either picture information or character information is divided into rectangular areas EL which are arranged periodically in the vertical and horizontal directions and which are equally sized and numbered, at the time of the display renewal of the areas that need to be renewed in the display screen D, on the basis of the value obtained by dividing the one determined from the position and the size of the area that needs to be renewed, from the position of the object OD to be displayed, and from the size of the rectangular areas EL for which the object is divided, by the periodΔx,Δy of the arrangement of these rectangular areas EL; the upper and lower limit values are determined of the number of the rectangular areas EL to be drawn and displayed, only the rectangular areas EL in these areas are drawn and displayed.</p> |
