摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric part connector capable of preventing the damage of soldered parts and the coming-off of electric parts by preventing external force from acting on the soldered parts directly even if the external force acts on a connector body. SOLUTION: In a surface mounting structure of an IC socket 11 which has a socket body 13 having a mounting part to mount an IC package and contact pins 14 threaded through the socket body 13 vertically and brought into contact with terminals of the IC package so as to be electrically connected with them, and of which socket body 13 is mounted on a printed circuit board 16 by soldering the lower end of a lead part 14c of each of the contact pins 14 to an electrode 16a of the printed circuit board 16 using a piece of solder 18, a contact part 13c to be brought into contact with the printed circuit board 16 is formed on the socket body 13, a gap (c) is formed between the lower end of the contact pin 14 and the electrode 16a of the printed circuit board 16 when the contact part 13c is brought into contact with the printed circuit board 16, and the lower end and the electrode 16a are connected together interposing the solder 18 in the gap (c).
