PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a number-of-revolution judging device which has a simple constitution and can be used easily, and by which the number of revolution of a rotating body can be detected and judged with high precision, and also to provide the method thereof. SOLUTION: This device 2 has a judging object such as a cutting grinding wheel 1 having slits 1a and openings 1b which appear as a pattern flow at the time of revolution, or the like, and is equipped with a site disk 4 which can operate the number of revolution and has sites, 4a and 4b, opened in order to observe visually the pattern flow of the cutting grinding wheel 1, and with an indicating display 2e on which the number of revolution of the site disk 4 is indicated. The cutting grin wheel 1 is observed visually through the sites, 4a and 4b, of the site disk 4, and the number of revolution of the site disk 4, at the time when the pattern flow stops and becomes a stationary image relatively to the site disk 4, is judged as the number of revolution of the cutting grinding wheel 1. |
