摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an equalizing filter which has optimum frequency characteristic and is improved in reliability and quality by connecting a low-pass filter as a passive element and a high-frequency gain increasing circuit which is a passive element as well and increases in high-frequency gain in steps. SOLUTION: This low-pass equalizing filter 10 is composed of a Bessel- Thomson quintic filter. The optimum point of 3 dB cutoff frequency is said to be 60% of a transmission speed. The high-frequency increasing circuit 20 is constituted by loading aπ-type attenuator or a T-type attenuator with a passive element, so that the attenuation quantity of high frequency becomes 0 at a certain frequency A making it as a border. Both not only constitute attenuators, but also perform impedance matching. The frequency characteristic of the equalizing filter 1, consisting of the low-pass filter 10 and high-frequency gain increasing circuit 20, has a peak of about 1 dB at a frequency which is half as high as the transmission speed. The eye height is nearly 100%.
