A broad spectrum disinfectant used in fresh or sea water, fish or crab breeding stations for disinfection of water organisms such as fertilised eggs, larvae and the fry of fish or crabs or even of newly hatched (Istar I) or enriched (Instar III) Artemia. Its composition is a 30% solution of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and its action is oxidation, neutralising the micro-organisms and pathogenic bacteria in a very short interval of time. The 30% aqueous solution of hydrogen peroxide is totally harmless to all water organisms, non-toxic to man, friendly to the environment and completely biodegradable within a period of a few days, used at doses of 300-500 ppm according to the application. |
