<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aggregated sealed secondary battery excellent in durability against vibration and impact, excellent in a cooling structure, compact, and excellent in safety. SOLUTION: In this secondary battery, power generation elements 1 are contained in battery jars 3 formed into a rectangular cylinder with bottom, the opening portions of the battery jars 3 are sealed by lid bodies 4 so as to form cells 2a to 2j, and the plural units thereof are arranged in series and are electrically connected by electric connection bodies 9. The battery jars 3 of the respective cells 2a to 2j are composed of an integral battery jar 51, connection bodies 9 are disposed so as to pass through partition wall portions 53, 54 partitioning the respective cells 2a to 2j, and coolant paths 55, 56 communicating with the outside are formed in the partition wall portions 53, 54.</p> |
