PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide underground radar equipment which can be handled easily when the equipment is moved to another searching location or loaded on and unloaded from a vehicle, etc., and to bring out the abilities of the transmission and reception antennas of the equipment to the maximum without deteriorating the electromagnetic balance between the antennas even when the antennas are arranged adjacently to each other. SOLUTION: The transmission antenna 1 and reception antenna 2 of underground radar equipment are respectively housed in first and second moving members 6-1 and 6-2 and, when the equipment is operated, the moving members 6-1 and 6-2 are assembled into one body. The coupling surface of each moving member 6-1 and 6-2 is provided with guide pins 8 and guide holes into which the guide pins 8 of the other members 6-2 and 6-1 are inserted and a locking member which fixes the coupling between the moving members 6-1 and 6-2 is provided at prescribed position of each member 6-1 and 6-2. Then a terminal to which a connecting cable 12 is connected and a housing hole which houses the cable 12 when both moving members 6-1 and 6-2 are coupled with each other is provided on at least one end face of the coupling surface of each moving member 6-1 and 6-2. In antenna enclosures which respectively house the transmission and reception antennas 1 and 2, a wave absorbing material 11 or shielding material 11 is attached to the surfaces of the antennas 1 and 2 on the opposite side of the ground surface.
|
