<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-ray type air flowmeter in which molding and assembling of components can be facilitated by forming a bypath for measuring air flow, or the like, directly in a throttle body thereby containing the air flowmeter without increasing the profile of a throttle unit. SOLUTION: A cylindrical passage forming member is disposed in the intake air introducing part 1a of a throttle body 1. A main air intake passage 6 is formed in the passage forming member while a bypath 14 is formed on the side part of the main air intake passage 6 and a heat-ray type sensor part 10 is inserted into the bypath 14. A circumferential wall passage 15 is formed between the circumferential wall part of the passage forming member and the circumferential wall of the intake air introducing part 1a. The bypath 14 is coupled, at the end thereof, to the circumferential wall passage 15 through a coupling passage 16 and a bypath outlet 9d, opening to the main air intake passage 6, is made at the circumferential wall part of the passage forming member.</p> |
