PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a failure diagnostic system for a burning appliance in which failure of the functional component in the burning appliance, of a water heater or the like, is located quickly and repaired easily. SOLUTION: The system for diagnosing the functional component of a burning appliance (water heater 2) comprises a connecting means, a display means (display 114), and a control means (failure diagnosis control section 100) and determines the operating state of the functional component through the control section 100 of the burning appliance to be inspected. Furthermore, various electric amounts are provided to the functional component through the connecting means or taken in therefrom. The electric amounts are displayed on the display means (display 114) along with the inspection results thus locating the failure quickly and facilitating repair thereof. |
