PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leak prevention control device for the air conditioner in an electric vehicle capable of independently detecting leak in an air conditioner without hampering running of the vehicle and preventing electric shock at the time of leak. SOLUTION: This leak prevention controlling device comprises a current interrupting device 4, which interrupts the high-tension DC current supplied from a high-tension power supply 3 to the compressor of an air conditioner to be incorporated in an electric vehicle, an inverter 6, which the high-tension DC current is supplied to and drives the compressor, a compressor motor 7 connected to the inverter 6, and a leak detecting circuit 5 connected to a connecting wire between the current interrupting device 4 and inverter 6 and to a vehicle body ground 15 including a leakage resistor 14. With the supply of the high-tension DC current interrupted by the current interrupting device 4, a leak detection is performed between the vehicle body ground 15 and the polarity bus connecting terminal of the inverter 6 or the inside terminal D of the compressor (provided at the connection point of the coils L1, L2, L3 of the compressor motor 7) in the leak detecting circuit 5. |
