<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector which is able to have adequate margin for positioning connectors, while maintaining the reliability of optical communication and can be manufactured at low cost. SOLUTION: Optical axes which connect elements 34A, 34B located in a primary-side housing 13 and elements 44A, 44B located in a secondary-side housing 20 are aslant with respect to the shifting direction of the housings 13, 20. Therefore, even if connectors 13, 20 are shifter with respect to each other, the optical axes are shifted only slightly and thereby adequate margin can be secured for positioning the connector 12 and a power receiving section 10, while maintaining the reliability of optical communication. Furthermore, since all that needs to be done is to set the optical axes aslant, there is no need for increasing the number of components, and the equipment can be manufactured at a low cost.</p> |
