<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily conduct a characteristic test by use of a personal computer without using a conventional large and heavy relay tester. SOLUTION: A protective relay 11, having a level detecting circuit 12 which converts a current/voltage input into a low voltage by means of a transformer 15 to determine whether or not the voltage level of this low voltage input has exceeded an allowable value, has a built-in voltage generating circuit 13 generating the necessary test voltage for a characteristic test according to command information from a personal computer 10. The test voltage generated by the voltage generating circuit 13 is supplied to the secondary side of the transformer 15 of the level detecting circuit 12, and the level detecting circuit 12 is used to determine whether or not the test voltage exceeds the allowable value and to transmit the result to the personal computer 10.</p> |
