Having added adhesive and fibres, the sheet passes through a final stage of calendering, to confer a predetermined appearance. An Independent claim is also included for the corresponding flocking equipment including a unit (2) coating adhesive on the surface (3) of the sheet (1), and another (4) depositing fibres as a layer. The final unit for calendering (9) modifies the surface appearance. Preferred Features: Calendering grains the surface. Calendering follows on continuously from the earlier processes, without interruption. It takes place immediately following oven or brushing treatment of the floc deposited. Calendering alternatively follows the previous operations with a delay. The flocked sheet may be stored, especially wound on reels, before calendering. The substrate sheet is flexible, being cloth, thin paper or plastic sheet. It is rigid or semi-rigid. Used to flock a sheet and confer desired appearance and/or texturing to the floc surface.
