Individual and collective locking and unlocking of multiple letterboxes

The letterboxes have an electrically operated release that responds to a code or key. A linear actuator (3) moves a striker plate (5) vertically which through a lever (4). The striker plate has windows aligned with the catch (2) on each letterbox door (1). A permanent magnet (7) inside each door (1) holds the door closed. The postman carries a key to release all locks at once.
