PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce types of terminals through the common application of connecting terminals and facilitate the mounting work on a circuit board by forming a conductive pattern to connect an insulating securing part to a connecting part formed on a board mounting surface on the surface of an insulating body to fix a contact terminal at the insulating securing part. SOLUTION: In a plug connector of a board mounting connector, multiple terminal securing holes 123c are formed in the front face of a plug insulator 313 and a conductive film 313a made of gold or the like is formed on each of their inside wall 123c'. In each of the securing holes 123c, a plug terminal equipped with a plug contact at its one end and an insulator securing part at its other end is so placed as to be corresponding to a mating connector by securing it at the insulating securing part. This terminal can easily be formed by means of a normal press punching technique. In addition, on a recessively stepped surface on a securing hole opening surface 123c" of an insulating body 123, a conductive pattern 313b made of gold or the like is formed and then, the plug terminal and a board connecting electrode 313c formed on a board mounting surface 123b" are connected through the conductive film 313a and a solder bump 313d. |
