PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device by which the occurrence of fogging on an image and toner smoke are prevented by suppressing the occurrence of blowing-up and blowing-down of the developer. SOLUTION: As for the developing device making the developer circulate by a supply screw 14 and a recovering screw 16 arranged up and down; the recovering screw 16 generates larger pressure in a normal direction than the supply screw 14. Thus, the blowing-down of the developer by which the developer fed by the supply screw 14 is moved to the recovering screw 16 while being fed is prevented. Thus, since the developer is sufficiently stirred during toner is replenished at a toner replenishing port 40 and is supplied to a developing roller 18, the developer which is sufficiently stirred and where the toner is uniformly dispersed is supplied to the developing roller 18, so that the occurrences of the fogging on the image and the toner smoke are prevented. |
