摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an adjusting method in which the mounting operation of a radar apparatus is adjusted in such a way that the projection position of signal light detected by a position detecting means is situated in a prescribed position and in which its beam axis is adjusted by a method wherein a first reflection means is installed at the radar apparatus and a signal irradiation means and the position detecting means are installed outside a vehicle. SOLUTION: A camera 22 is fixed to a position in which visible light from a light source 20 is to be reflected by a light reflecting tape. The imaged image of reflected light which is imaged by the camera 22 is displayed on a monitor 24. In a beam-axis adjusting process, the light is irradiated from the light source 20 toward the light reflecting tape which is pasted on a vehicle 10 which is stopped. The imaged image of the reflected light is confirmed by the monitor 24. The mounting operation of the radar apparatus is adjusted in such a way that the luminous dot of the reflected light is situated in the central point. The light reflecting tape is pasted only on the radar apparatus, and the cost and the size of the radar apparatus are not made large. In addition, even when the radar apparatus is arranged and installed so as to be offset in the transverse width direction of the vehicle 10, its beam axis, can be adjusted so as to be at the front in the advance direction of the vehicle 10.</p>
