The invention refers to an electromagnetically operating wheel which is an improvement to patent no. 114390 and which is used in electric traction as well as in other fields where a wide range of speeds is required. The electromagnetically operating wheel is characterised by the fact that the induced element is fastened on the lower side of the bogie [8] which has the supporting system composed of two coiled springs [a] and [12] and a rod [14], and which allows in front of an axial air gap [Δ], the occurrence of vertical oscillations to the inducer [5], against the wheel [2].
