The procedure entails determining the reaction of the wheel on the affect of brake pressure, and modifying the control signal in proportion to the determined wheel reaction. The control signal is a discrete signal based on time and value, and wheel slip is used as the wheel reaction. The control signal can be modified with regard to its duration and/or rate and/or time position. An Independent claim is included for a system for brake pressure influencing including units for creating a control signal (11), for influencing brake pressure (12) in accordance with the signal received, for recording wheel reaction (13,14) and for modifying the control signal (16).
