An insulating board (1) made of mineral wool is combined with an electrically conducting layer (2). This may be a fleece of metal threads, a perforated metal foil, a metallic reinforcement or a braided wire mat or carbon fleece. To meet thermal insulation requirements, it is important that the coat has the correct diffusion properties. A conducting projecting edge (3) connects to the adjacent board. The electrically conducting layer consists of a paramagnetic, diamagnetic or ferromagnetic material.
