The invention concerns a toothbrush comprising a hollow handle (1) designed to be filled with a pasty product for cleaning teeth and a brush (4) provided with bristles, the handle (1) and the brush (4) being provided with mutually abutting fixing means. The handle (1) forms a reservoir for the pasty product and comprises a hole for allowing the product to flow through and means for controlling a piston (7) housed in the reservoir and designed to force the pasty product through the hole. The piston (7) comprises a central threaded hole co-operating with a threaded rod (8) passing through a closure (11) of the reservoir second end and integral with the piston (7) control knob (12), the threaded rod (8) and the control knob (12) being mobile in rotation and in translation. The toothbrush comprises means for limiting the piston (7) axial travel, arranged between the piston and the closure (11), and axially integral with the rod (8).
