Monitoring method for circuit state parameters of switching devices e.g. power switchgear

A method for monitoring of condition parameters with a switching device, by means of detecting and evaluating suitable signals involving suppression of interference of the signals. The evaluation signals are decoupled from interference stemming from the switching device and/or the environment, and the evaluation signals are electronically processed. Plausibility testing of the evaluation signals is carried out, and these signals are discriminated from signal patterns caused by interference. The devices used for passive interference suppression against electromagnetic interference fields are specifically suitable screens, and more specifically, sheet-metal screens made of ferromagnetic and/or non-ferromagnetic material with high conductivity are used.
