The intraluminal element, especially a coronary element, comprises a thin walled tubular member with a slat type mantle surface (1), expansion elements (2,2.1-6), and a connection element (4.1) which joins a number of primary and secondary expansion elements. The primary and secondary expansion elements follow on from each other and the connection element has two regions of constant slat width.
