In addition to that, the present invention relates to a method and a device for manufacturing a moulded element, in particular a plate, wherein a mixture comprising binder and filler is compressed and heated. The present invention furthermore relates to floor plates, a sports hall provided with such floor plates, promotional gifts, ceiling plates, furniture and objects of art.
