The cylinder has an adaptor (2a) made of plastics which is radially orientated and fastened and sealed in position directly on the pressure housing by a push-in connection (7a) and locking component. To form the push-in connection the adaptor has a connector (9a) at the end forming an inner section which fits into a connecting piece (8a) forming an outer section connected in one piece to the pressure housing. METALLURGY - The cylinder may be made of aluminium or cast aluminium.
