The inner toothed machine, working with a pinion with outer teeth, has a segment carrier (9) with each of the outermost support points (30,31) at an axial gap (a) to the side surfaces (23,24) of the segment carrier (9). Each of the outermost support points of the sealing segment are at another axial gap to the side surfaces of the seal segment.
