Data transmission method for radio communications system

The method involves transmitting TDMA separated data between a fixed radio stations (BS) and mobile radio station. At least two training sequences (tseq), known to the respectively receiving radio station are sent within a discrete radio block by the radio stations within a time slot. The receiving radio stations perform a channel estimate in response to the training sequences, whereby the largest distance of a data symbol to the next training sequence is reduced through a positioning of the training sequences within the time slot. The receiving radio stations perform preferably an interpolation or extrapolation of the channel estimates from the training sequences within the time slot.
