Busbar system, especially for lighting devices

A busbar system has at least one busbar (1) in which at least two current conductors (13-15) run and at least one connecting device (2,3) designed for fastening to the busbars. The connecting device has at least two contact shoes designed for electrical contact with the assigned conductors and at least two connecting contacts (51,56) which can be joined in conducting fashion without cables to the contact shoes and which are movable relative to the shoes, whilst maintaining the electrical contact. The connecting contacts can be turned relative to the contact shoes in preferably unlimited fashion about an axis preferably parallel to a longitudinal axis (6) of the busbars.
