Light diffuser for vehicle signal lights

A solid block of transparent material (1) has recesses (5) formed in the rear to accommodate five light bulbs (6). The front face of the block (2) is formed with cylindrical lenses (4). Behind the face and within the block are a series of tubular voids (8,9). The voids have a concave shape which has been designed to reflect light from the bulbs directly towards the face of the diffuser. A further version of the diffuser is included that uses a single light source, being either a bulb or a fiber optic link.
