Method and apparatus for assembling a balustrade for a people moving device

The method involves the step of providing a structural frame truss for a people moving device. Balustrade components for a people moving device and an adjustable assembly jig are provided. The balustrade components ion the assembly jig are aligned in a predetermined geometry, where the adjustable assembly jig may be adjusted for different balustrade geometries. The balustrade components are assembled into a balustrade assembly on the assembly jig. The balustrade assembly is attached to the frame truss. The balustrade assembly may be positionally adjusted and attached to the truss as an assembly.
