PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lubricating oil compsn. which is excellent in initial shudder prevention, shudder prevention life, and thermal oxidation stability and is applied to an automatic gear of an automobile or to a mechanism having e.g. a wet clutch, such as a building or agricultural machine. SOLUTION: This compsn, is prepd. by using a mineral oil, a synthetic oil, or a mixture thereof as the base oil, contains, based on the total compsn., 0.1-5.0 mass % at least one compd. selected from among calcium sulfonate, calcium phenate, magnesium sulfonate, and magnesium phenate, and 0.1-0.5 mass % zinc dithiophosphate, and pref. further contains 0.1-0.5 mass % bisphenolic antioxidant. |
