PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To grind an oscillator quickly at a low cost when the rosonance frequency of the oscillator is to be adjusted. SOLUTION: A control circuit 63 excites an oscillator on a work 10 fixed to an installation table 24, feeds the oscillation waveform of the oscillator through an oscilloscope 62, and approaches the oscillator in oscillation to a grinding wheel 32 bit by bit with the aid of a work moving mechanism 20 to be controlled. It is sensed that the amplitude of the oscillation waveform of the oscillator has lessened below the specified value or that the shape of the oscillation waveform has changed, and thereby contacting of the oscillator with the grinding wheel 32 is known, which should lead to stopping of the oscillator, and the grinding is started at this position of stopping. |
