<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-bag device for a front passenger's seat, which can prevent the danger of relative rubbing between an occupant and an air-bag even if the occupant comes in contact with the air-bag while the air-bag is being expanded. SOLUTION: An air-bag 69 is formed out of a bag body 70, a mouth part 71 introducing gas to the bag body 70 out of an inflator 66, and of a stationary part 72 with respect to a case 64. The mouth part 71 is disposed to a center part within the case 64, and concurrently, the upper part 70d and lower part 70c of the bag body 70 are folded respectively so as to be housed in a space between the mouth part 71 and each side inner surface of the case 64. When the inflator 66 is in operation, the center rear surface portion 70a of the bag body 70 for the air-bag 69, is expanded first by the quantity as specified, and the other portions 70d and 70c under their folded conditions are expanded upward and downward while being imparted with tension.</p> |
